Dong(1) Ji [10040] Author of the Lu she bei yao fang. 1 ch. Ding Fubao, 400b has a postface by Qian Yi(2) dated 1093. See also SKTY, 103.7a. He was eulogized by Chao(2) Buzhi [13], who died in 1110. His dates were probably closer to those of his possible cousins (or brothers), Mian [1744] and Ze [18292] (Ze would be about 1077, Mian was sometime after 1060. Dong(1) Mian [1744], was also from Dongping, Pingyin xian, has the same generational indicator for his mingzi, and probably either brother or lineage cousin. In addition, Dong(1) Ze, Ren(1) Zhuan's [874] son-in-law, has the same generational name as Ji and Mian. Dong(1) Zhengfeng [1736] was a son-in-law of Liang(1) Yantong [18250], a Dongping person, and You [10682] and his son, Fen [1739], who moved to Yixing at beginning of S. Song, were both Dongping resident. Chao(2) Buzhi's connection would also support links between the Dong, Ren and Liang lineages. I am, therefore, Making Ji, Mian and Ze lineage cousins; Zhengfeng, a lineage nephew of Mian, and You, a lineage nephew of Zhengfeng, and all originally from Pingyin.
