Xi(3) Yanchang [10677] See wife's funerary inscriptions (born Du (3)). When her father, Zhen(2) [10676], died at an early age, she was raised by her great uncle Xin [10681] (q.v.). Liu Qi, WJ, 8.103-104 (wife, born Du, who married him at age 18 and died in 1112 at age 56). Xi(3) Yannian [10678], who is Cheng(1) Xiang's [3103] son-in-law, is assumed to be a brother or cousin and Xi(3) Yanzheng [15705], a nephew, since he has the same generational names as Yanchang's sons. The address is based on the burial site of Yanchang's wife. My guess is that these Xi(3) are related to Xi(3) Dan [18089] and his son Yi [8057], both Henan, Luoyang residents. This would establish a common address with the Cheng family. I keep separate, for the time being. There is also a Xi(3) Yanshang (not in dataset) indexed for XCB, who was dismissed for failure to follow the patterns in manufacturing weapons and later held other offices. CHECK. |
