Ren(1) Wenmao [11206] Fujian TZ, 148.38a. See documentation for father-in-law, Huang(2) Yu [11132]. Not only does the first character of Wenmao's mingzi match that of Wenjian [885], but so does the radical of the second character in his mingzi. This, plus chronological logic and address, suggests that they were brothers or, at least, cousins. However, a younger brother of Wenmao named Boyue [12624] earned a facilitated degree in 1202 and Wenmao was jinshi in 1160, which also may indicate that these men were either members of the same lineage, but of different branches, or the same jia, with different generational names.
