Chronological logic, including dates of maternal grandfather, Liu(2) Hang [8090], would make him a lineage nephew of Xiu 1384] and Can [12142]. For relationship to Hang, see Hu Quan, WJ, 30.14b. I am also making him the father-in-law of Hu(1) Fangzhong [13132], whose father-in-law is an Ouyang and, based on Hu Quan, WJ, 30.8a-9a, established patterns of marriage. There are also no other possible Ouyang kin except the kin of Ouyang(1) Xiu as marriage partners for the Jian-s Hu. Either Ouyang(1) Yanshou is Fangzhong's father-in-law or he was a close kin of the same generation. |
