Fu(5) Bing [12495] Fujian TZ, 149.16b. He is also listed as a Changzhou, Wujin jinshi in Piling zhi, 11.22a along with kinsman, Cheng(2) [11178], and a Yi [16298] (q.v.) is listed as both a Xianyou and Wujin jinshi for 1187. I am treating both Bing and Yi as great grandsons of Ji [7225], and Bing as the one who moved to Changzhou. I am also treating Cheng(2) as a person who moved to Changzhou. It is possible, indeed probable, that these men represent a branch of the lineage that remained in Changzhou from the time Ji was a menren of Chen(1) Xiang [7005], and that their generation was the first treated as permanent residents--this would be consistent with a three generation requirement. There was a Xuegu, Changzhou jinshi in 1214 [not entered into the dataset], who is not listed in the Fujian TZ, who may be kin. This would explain double-counting between places in the transitional third generation after the move. See also Jiangnan TZ, 120.19b. |
