Zeng(1) Yi(3) [13162] See documentation for great grandson, Ri [13166]. Hu(1) Quan's [10565] text is not completely clear to me, but it seems that Yi's son, Zhen(2) [13163], moved to Jizhou, Jian. Since Ri is listed as a jinshi, but does not appear in the juren list, wheresas Zhen(2)'s son, Dingcheng [13164], does appear (twice) in the juren list as well as the 1097 jinshi list, the probability is that Zhen(2) moved here. However, it is also possible that there was no move and that these are two independent branches of a Jizhou and a Quanzhou Zeng(1) lineage that had an earlier common ancestor--possibly with the Nanfeng branch as well. I am going to treat this for the time being as jia 'b' of Zeng(1) Gongliang's [8136] lineage, with Gongliang representing jia 'a'. |
