Zeng(1) Minxiu [13284] Jiangxi TZ, 21.32b. I am tentatively identifying him, son-in-law of Liu(2) Pei [20271], as the son of Zeng(1) Guangting [13232]. Liu(2) Pei's son-in-law's sons were all grandsons of Zeng(1) Guangting and his Minxiu's zi, Zhengchen, differs from that of brothers Minxun (Jichen) and Minxing (Dachen). Minxue [30426] requested an inscription for his mother in ca. 1171 and, therefore, cannot be the correct person since Liu(2) Pei's daughter died in 1167. The only other possibility would be Minde [30425], Guangting's son #3. Minxiu's wife's father died early and she was raised by uncle, Liu(2) Jian(3) [20272], who had moved from Yongxin to Jishui county and who arranged the marriage with Jishui county resident Zeng(1) Minxiu. Yang Wanli, WJ, 126.4b-6a (wife, surname Liu, who died in 1167 at age 51). |
