Chen(1) Shi(6) [15171] I am identifying him as a member of a branch of Wenyu's(2) [4167] lineage. Wenyu(2) was father-in-law of Hu(1) Ze [829]. The primary basis for this identification is address. However, Shen(2) Gou's [1449] authorship of Shi(6)'s wife's funerary inscription suggests a link with a lineage that traced its recent origin to officials in the administration of WuYue. Shi(6) married born Fang from Dongyang county when she was 21 years old and she died in 1056 at age 70. Shen sanshi, 10.56a-57b. CBD, 3, 2509 (son's entry). |
