Qiao(2) Xizai [16198] According to Zhen(1) Dexiu's [10258] funerary inscription for his son #3, Lingxian [16200], the ancestors of this lineage were Sichuan residents (probably related to the other Qiao(2) lineage, which was from Linqiong) and moved to Qingzhou at the end of Tang. Xizai's father moved South, my guess is to Xinghua, and Xizai was the first to live in the capital. Zhen(1) Dexiu seems to have two nested inscriptions, one having Lingxian born in 1168 and living to an age of 59 (i.e. 1168-1227), whereas the second seems to have him dying in 1222 at age 68. It is also clear that my edition is different from the SBCK editions. Must CHECK again. For the time being, I am following CBD and my notes to the SBCK edition. However, important affinal kin are revealed in the alternative inscriptions. CBD, 5, 4265. |
