Wang(1) Shi [17090] He called himself Jinghe, but because of his love of Buddha, his neighbors (liren) called him Changlao). In 1040, he assembled the resources necessary to construct the Anyan Huayan yuan, a buddhist temple, which was immortalized in a stele drafted by Lou(2) Yue [3624]. His ancestors, according to the funerary inscriptions for his 5th generation descendant, Ruxian [17095], and 6th generation descendant, Ji(2) [17096], moved from She (Xi) to Mingzhou, he shares the generational indicator of Zhu [10347], Wang(1) Siwen's [1758] father, and other Shejun Wang(1). I am, therefore, making this lineage a branch 'b' of the Mingzhou Wang(1). CBD, 1, 705. |
