Hong(1) B [17535] According to Yuan(1) Fu [10296], in his funerary inscription for Hong(1) Tian [17542] (q.v.), after ancestor moved to Chunan from Hongzhou at end of Tang, it was 6 generations to Tian. Liu(2) Zai [11800], in his funerary inscription for Tian's brother, Yan(3) [17544] (q.v.), it was six generations to Yan(3) from an ancestor who moved from Hongzhou to Chunan. Even counting this as 7th generation ancestor (ego=1), these would be very long generations (nearly 45 year average)--but possible if we are dealing with the youngest sons of youngest sons throughout. |
