Cui(1) Fu(2) [17695] CHECK funerary inscription of wife, born Zhao(1), who died in 1373 at age of 56 [see Zhao(1) Yong(2)'s [17693] documentation]. Fu(2) was a painter, whose son's zi was Yanhui and who seems to have been confused with a Yanfu, who was also a famous painter. Possibly, since both are Hangxian Cui(1). I assume that Yanfu was zi, and that Yanhui (zi) and Yanfu (zi) were cousins. Yanfu could not have painted his famous painting in 1342 and still be the son of Fu, who was only 25 years old in 1342. Yanhui's mingzi was Sheng [17696] (q.v.). WDY, 2, 1034; 3, 1705. |
