Sang(1) Zhengguo [18167] The funerary inscription for father-in-law, Lu(5) Cong [18165] (q.v.), has him identified as jinshi, Sang(1) Dingguo, but this must be a copyiest error--ding and zheng can easily be confused and there is no Dingguo recorded as receiving the jinshi degree. Lu(5) You's [3640] comment in his funerary inscription for Zhengguo's probable grandson, Zhuang [18169], that the two families were successively intermarried (ji hunyin), establishes the relationship between the Gaoyou Sang(1) of Northern Song with the branch that moved to Taizhou during the Southern Song.
