Xiao(1) Shifan [18512] Guangxi TZ, 21.15b identifies him as a Guangnan Xi yunpan during the Jiayou period (1056-63). This may be an error for the period during which he earned the juren (1062) and jinshi (1063) degrees. In addition to Shifan and his probable brother, Shijing [722], there were four Xiao(1) Shi+x residents of Longquan ( modern Suichuan) county who earned the juren in 1072, and another, Shichang, who earned it in 1078, who must be brothers or cousins (Jiangxi TZ, 21.11b, 12b). In addition, there were two contemporaries from Suichuan, Zuo and Jie, who earned the juren in 1058 (TZ, 21.8b). Zuo passed the jinshi in 1059 (TZ, 21.19a) and Jie in 1061 (TZ, 21.19a). Another Xiao(1) using radical 9 as the generational indicator, Zhuan, earned the juren in 1072 (TZ, 21.11b). I am only including Shijing and Shifan, who held fiscal posts, and others not in dataset, but all are probably members of the same lineage, which is probably another branch of the Nan Lanling Xiao.
