Rao(1) Siyong [19137] Jiangxi TZ, 22.2a. Not listed by Hymes, p. 229, as a member of either Linchuan Rao(1) families, but probably a nephew (or son) of Wendu [19132], who seems to have given his sons mingzi of those of people he admired. After Rao(1) Bangxiu [19138], jinshi in 1128, I do not not include the Linchuan Rao(1) not identified by Hymes, although Yu (jinshi 1132, Jiangxi TZ, 22.5a, not in dataset)) was probably a member of this lineage, etc. The absence of kinship information is probably owing to the dating of different editions of the local histories. |
