Fang(1) Run [20289] According to Liu(2) Kezhuang's [3595] funerary inscription for Run's great grandson, Cai [20292] (q.v.), these Fang(1) were intermarried with other distinguished Putian lineages from the time of Cai(1) Xiang [1651] and including Chen(1) Mi's [10892] relationship with Cai's lineage uncle, the scholar (chushi) Yun [not in dataset], who was active in 1163-1173. Yun has the same generational indicator in his mingzi as Wan(2) [11280], who was active during the same period. This would make Run a lineage nephew of Yong [11382], who was active during the 11th century--i.e. Run was a member of a cadet branch of the lineage. Even if this analysis is incorrect, Run and his descendants were certainly members of one or another of the Shejun Fang(1) lineage (i.e. tsu # 150 or 151). |
