Lu(5) Xin [20532] According to Lu(5) You's inscription for Lu(5) Guang [3635], at the end of Tang, an ancestor moved from the ancestral home, Wujun, Jiaxing county, to Hangzhou, Qiantang county and then, during WuYue, from Qiantang to Shanyin. Xin's was the earliest Lu(5) grave found in the Shanyin Lu(5) ancestral graveyard in Shaoxing, Shanyin county. According to Lu(5) You, WJ, 37.7b, another branch of the Wujun Lu(5) descended from an ancestor who moved to Wuxing at the same time You's jia moved to Shanyin and that both families were the same lineage (tongzu). I am identifying Xin's grandfather, B, as the one who moved from Jiaxing to Qiantang, Xin as moving to Shanyin and establishing jia 'a', and C, another grandson of B, as moving to Huzhou, Changxing county and establishing jia 'b.' Lu You, WJ, 39.4b. |
