Shi(4) Xuan [21069] Identified in Fujian TZ, 147.13a as son of Xuan(3) [21067] and in 148.23a as uncle of Xuan(2) [21073], the Shishi zupu identifies him as a son of Zun [21068] and as a grandfather of Xuan(2). This makes better chronological sense if he was a nephew of Zun and son of Xuan(3) as indicated in Fujian TZ. The zupu also dates his jinshi as 1063, and Fujian TZ, 147.21a lists him as Tongan county resident Wang(2) Xuan, son of Xuan(3). The obvious errors in the TZ in combination with the greater sense made by the genealogy, leads me to accept the latter in most instances. However, Shishi zupu, 'shuo,' p. 2, dates Zun's birth in 1014 and Xuan's birth in 1025, which makes the TZ identification of Xuan as a son of Xuan(3) the only logical conclusion. In other words, Xuan was son of Xuan(3), father of Hongqing [16423], who was father of Xuan(2). Fen(2) [17163] was Hongqing's younger brother, father of Lin [17405], who was father of Qizong [21074], who was father of Dayou [18248]. Xuan(2) (whose correct genealogical mingzi was Luqian) was the second son of Hongqing and the direct ancestor of the Tongan county->Longqi county->Taiwan Shi(4), whose genealogy is included in the Shishi zupu. Xuan died in 1094 and his wife was born in 1029. Shishi zupu, p. 3.
