Shi(4) Fen [21080] Concensus ancestor of the Shaoxing, Xinchang Shi(4) and the Meizhou, Meishan Shi(4) of Song, he was a direct descendant of the Chun Qiu period Dafu of the state of Wei, Shi(4) Que (not in dataset). He was given the hao of Wanshi (10,000 bushels) by Han Jingdi when he reached his highest office. He was highly valued by the empress Dou, who directly recruited his eldest son, Jian [21081] (q.v.), and youngest son, Qing [21082] (q.v.). Although both the Xinchang and Meishan Shi(4) use the same generational indicators (sometimes, the exact same mingzi), there is little else shared between the lineage histories after Fen and I am making the Han dynasty Shi(4) a separate lineage, but ancestral to both Song dynasty Shi(4), who will also remain two other separate lineages.
