Shi(4) Cangyong [21084] In 776, Cangyong summoned his family (jia) and sopke to them saying: \"The generals of the empire are in rebellion, but Sichuan (Shu) is an extremely peaceful place, and there are also many beautiful mountains and streams, We are going to flee this land and go there.\" They then moved to Meishan, where his affinal kin, Li(2) Gao? (not in dataset), was prefect. (Du Dagui, 'zhong,' 16.1a). Chronological logic would suggest that he was a relatively young man at this time and, therefore, I date active year as 806.
