Shan(1) Zhao [21476] Murong Yanfeng, WJ, 15.6a-6b. It is hard to believe that these Shan(1) are not related to the Changzhou, Yixing Shan(1)--the grandfather of Xi(2) [24488] and E [24489] was Xi [24486], same generational name as Zhao, and Murong(1) Yanfeng [10451] does funerary inscription for E, a born Shan(1), wife of a Yu(6) Chongfu [24494] and sister of Shan(1) E, and Zhao, whose son, Zhirou was married to the daughter of Yanfeng's younger brother. According to E's funerary inscription, the original benguan of the lineage was Jiangning and that Xi's father, Yi [24485], moved to Changzhou, Yixing county. However, Xi and Zhao were respectively active in 1030 and 1105, which would make Zhao a member of very cadet branch of the lineage. I am making Zhao a third nephew of Yi and making the Changzhou branch, 'a', and the Wuzhou branch, 'b,' and not indicating the probable move from Jiangning to Wuzhou. CBD, 4, 2963. |
