Duan(1) Fen(2) [21754] He was tongnianyou as well as same prefecture and village with his daughter-in-law's father, Peng(1) Wenming [21760], which explains the marriage between his son and Wenming's daughter. Fen(2) was a juren in 1064 (Jiangxi TZ, 21.10a) and jinshi in 1091 (Jiangxi TZ, 21.28a), which probably means that he earned the former degree early in life and the latter degree at a comparatively advanced age.
