Wu(3) Bingwen [23910] In the 1148 jinshi listing for his presumed nephew, Te [23912] (wujia #80), Te's uncle (father's elder brother) is listed as a county vice-magistrate and founder of the household (weihu). Te's father, Bingzhe [23911] (who held office w/o jinshi), and Bingwen both share the same generational name. On this basis, I am assuming that Bingwen was Bingzhe's elder brother. Bingwen is listed in Fujian TZ, 148.15a as an Ouning county resident. Zhenghe was first established in 1115 on perhaps some territory formally belonging to Ouning. Most probably, however, is that Bingwen moved from Ouning when he established the family. |
