Qian(1) Qingzu [24269] His generational indicator is the same as that of Duanli's [150] grandson, Xiangzu [3033]. His father-in-law, Wang(2) Zhiwang [1787] was also a Linhai resident. Since Xiangzu was the only son of the only son of Duanli, Qingzu must be a grandnephew. This is a good example of the development of a yindang. Both Duanli and Wang(2) Zhiwang moved to Taizhou at the beginning of the Southern Song. Duanli's grandson becomes the son-in-law of Zhiwang and Zhiwang's son, Duo(2) [3984], becomes the grandson-in-law of Duanli. It also seems to be one of several examples of equal exchange--i.e. wife-givers and wife-takers held the same status position. See documentation for grandfather-in-law, Wang(2) Gang(3) [21993]. |
