Ma(2) Yuehena [24518] Either father-in-law or son-in-law was a Kuolijisi (Gorigis), of which there are 5 indexed in WDY, 4, 2391-2. One has a funerary inscription, who was the son-in-law of Yuan dynasty emperor, Chengzong. Another (probably not the right one) was the son of a Fulin muslim (probably a Seljuk Turk), who has a funerary inscription, and another was a descendant of Mongol associates of Jingghis Khan and probably the correct peron. Yuehena adopted the Chinese surname, Ma(2), based on the character being a part of his father's title. CHECK funerary inscription and other documentation in WDY, 2, pp. 994-6. |
