Feng(4) G [25297] According to Wang(2) Zhiwang's funerary inscription for his descendant, Zi, three Feng(4) brothers moved to Sichuan at the time of Tang Xizong's flight and established branches of the Feng(4) in Mian, Pu and Sui prefectures. Consistencies in the funerary inscriptions for members of the disparite branches of this lineage suggest the high probability that these three brothers were all great grandsons of Kang [19201] and the fact that there were no Feng(4) jinshi reported in Sichuan TZ before Song suggests that all Sichuan Feng(4) were members of this lineage. All branches were distinguished (zhuxing) and the Suining branch was noted for many junzi who lived in retirement from the political affairs of the world (yin junzi). |
