Shi(5) Changru [29966] The three funerary inscriptions that trace the historiy of this lineage are confusing. Zhu Gui, WJ, 5.109-111, traces the ancestry to Shi(5) Hao and then records a one move from Ningbo to Shaoxing. Zhu Yun, WJ, 13.259-262, traces the ancestry to the Yin Xian Shi(5) and to a Shi(5) Wei 惟, who moved from Liyang to Yin Xian and then a 9th generation descendant, Changru who moved from Yin Xian to Yuyao during the Yuan. This Shi(5) Wei finds no mention in Richard Davis or elsewhere. Finally, Zhu Yun, WJ, 13.257-259, Traces moves from Liyang to Yin Xian to Yuyao and then a subsequent move to Shanyin, but does not mention Changru. We are sticking with Changru as the 13th generation ancestor of Zaibian [29967], father of the four brothers who moved to Wanping and also sticking with Yuyao as the ancestral address. |
