Chen(1) Liangbi [70] According to the Fujian TZ, he was the grandson of Sheng [13696], who was son of Zhen(3) [13695]. The 1148 jinshi list, however, has his great grandfather as a Xuan(8) [23952], who held no office, and grandson of Shu(5) [23953], who also held no office. The only conclusion that makes any sense is that there was an adoption at some point in the patrilineal descent. I am going to treat Liangbi's father, Yi(24) [23954], as a son of Sheng, who was adopted by his second uncle Shu(5)--Sheng's 2nd cousin (?), who was a son of Sheng's second uncle (?), Xuan(8).
