Lou(2) Shu [1265] His great grandfather, Yu [3623], moved from Mingzhou, Fenghua xian to Yinxian and received the jinshi in 1053. His grandfather, Chang [3613], passed the exam in 1064-7 as did his father, Yi [3618], in 1085. Shou used his father's yin to enter the civil service. His son, Tang [3620], was married to a Jiang(3) Shi, whose family had been multi-generational residents in Yinxian. One of their sons-in-law was an imperial clansman Zhao(1) Rukuo [3199], whose family had settled in Yinxian. Rukuo was a Yinxian jinshi in 1196 and served as Tiju Fujian shibo between 1213 and 1224. Rukuo was also author of the famous Zhufan zhi translated by Friedrich Hirth and W. W. Rockhill. Tang, who was the father-in-law of Zhou(1) Wan's [505] son, Yuanqing [3251]. Tang's grandson, Yi(2) [3619], was Zhou(1) Yuanqing's son-in-law. Lu(5) Zhi(1)'s [1284] son, Yuan [3641], as the father-in-law of Shou's son or nephew, Jun [3616]. Shou's sister was the wife of Wang(2) Xun's [1818] son, Wang(2) Zhengji [3948]. Zhengji's son-in-law, Lou(2) Zong [3622], and grandson-in-law, Lou(2) Di [3621], were respectively either Shou's son or nephew and grandson or grandnephew. Shou's nephew, Yue [3624], was in the State council 1208-1210. Yue married his third son, Yuan [19948], to the daughter of a union between Wu(3) Fei's [1970] son and a descendant of Shi(5) Hao [8113]. The grandson-in-law of Wu(3) Fei's [1970] eldest son, Jin [4008], was Lou(2) Yue's youngest son, Zhi [3614]. Shou's brother, Ju [3615], was Wang(1) Siwen's [1758] son-in-law. Lou(2) Zhen [3617], the son-in-law of Jiang(2) Hao [3227], who was the father of Jiang(2) Yu [3228], the betrothed of Wang(1) Siwen's [1758] granddaughter had the same generational name as Lou(2) Shou's grandsons and grandnephews.
