Zong(1) Ying [1718] Ze's son [3897]. Affinal relation of Chen(1) Liang [3075]. A careful search of the collected papers of Chen(1) Liang and Zong(1) Ze will lead to a fairly comprehensive reconstruction of the Wuzhou(b) gentry lineages. For example, see the funerary inscription of Liang's father-in-law, He(2) Hui [3338], whose son He(2) Dabian [3341] was the son-in-law of Zong(1) Wu [3898], the grandson of Ze's brother and whose daughter, He(2) Shi, was the wife of Zong(1) Wu's son, Kai [3896]. It is important to note that the Zong(1), Chen(1) and He(2) lineages were long time Wuzhou(b) residents with little claim to distinction before Zong(1) Ze and Chen(1) Liang became famous.
