Gao(1) Jixuan [7113] His ancestors were Bohai jun Gao(1). His father, Qiong [3441], served in the army of Wang(2) Shenqi, who was the great grandfather of Wang(2) Kechen [1834]. Qiong subsequently became an army officer in the camp of Zhao(1) Taizong [9002]. Although nearly all members of the lineage are listed as Bozhou, Mengcheng residents, they maintained a large compound in Kaifeng, Kaifeng xian where Qiong and his sons were buried (see also Gongxuan's [912] entry). Although they may have also retained their estates in Bozhou, we have recorded a move to Kaifeng by Qiong. Jixuan's brothers included Jizhong [905] and Jixun [3442]. Jixun's granddaughter, (Zunfu's [3450] daughter), was made empress in 1063 and empress dowager in 1067; i.e, Zhao(1) Yingzong's [9005] granduncle-in-law. This lineage followed a general pattern of intermarriage with the imperial clan. Jixuan's grandson's or grandnephew's father-in-law was Xue(1) Zhongru [7108]. His great grandson or great grandnephew was Gao(1) Gongxuan [912]. Fan(2) Yong's [593] son-in-law. Wang Gui, WJ, 49,1a, 10a. |
