Chen(1) Da [12827] He was the founder of the Wuxing branch of the Yingchuan Chen and is designated Wuxing Chen in Zhou Jiayou, 5, p. 615. He moved to Huzhou (Wuxing), Changcheng (later Changxing) county during the Yongjia troubles that preceded the Western-Eastern Jin transition. He was the 13th generation ancestor of Chen(1) Baxian [12828], who established the Chen dynasty as Chen Wudi (r. 557-559). Renming Da cidian, p. 1095. His descendant, Zhen(2) [12829], moved to Xinghua, Putian county during the Tang-Wu Dai transition and was the ancestor of Chen(1) Junqing's [10884] lineage (see Zhu Xi, WJ, 96.1a). See also documentation for Da's ancestor, Zhen(7) [12821]. Zhu Xi has mingzi as Kui and the XTS has it as Shida, but Da seems to be correct. |
