Guo(1) Congyi [15967] A leading general under Five Dynasty Han and Zhou. His father was a army officer who served the Later Tang and was granted the surname Li(2). Conyi changed back to the original surname, Guo(1), in 936 after Later Tsin succeeded Tang. His second son was Shouxin [15969], and Shouxin's son was Shilong [15971]. However, the Shouxin(2) [19264] and Shilong(2) [24425] who were respectively the great grandfather-in-law and grandfather-in-law of Zhao(1) Zhongji [24424] were members of a different lineage, Huayin Guo(1) and descendants of the famous Tang general and zaixiang, Guo(1) Ziyi [19258]. Whether or not this confusion in names was the result of attempts to establish a link between the lineages is not clear. But, since Fan(2) Zuyu does the inscriptions of the descendants of Congyi and Shouxin(2) (Ziyi's descendant), who were married into the imperial clan and makes the two separate ancestral links and does not provide any indication of a link between the two, I am making them two separate lineages.
