Li(2) Zhao [16831] The two Shangdang county Longxi Li(2) lineages must be related. Chongju [984] (branch 'b') was orphaned as a youth and rose to military command on the basis of his own efforts and therefore cannot be the son of Zhao, who was a commander under the Later Tang. However, Chongju's sons have the same generational names as Zhao's grandsons, the ancestral address is identical and the origin in Longxi Li(2), who moved to Shangdang is shared by both branches of the lineage. I am therefore making Zhao a lineage (third) uncle of Chongju. See also documentation for grandson, Jilong [3481]. |
